Radiation Device Damaged Due to Neglect

A radiation device located at the National Committee for Atomic Energy valued at $400,000 was damaged due to extended exposure to rain and wind.

The device was donated to Yemen in 2009 from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The device improves plants and seeds with the waves of radiation it produces.

Reports stated that the device loses its power gradually even it is left unused for long time. Since it was donated, it has already lost three quarters of its power with little use.
