With Minister of Higher Education Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi in attendance, Azal University celebrated its first graduating class at its cultural center on June 6.
Dr. Al-Shuaibi said he handles private higher education institutions with great care, as they are considered an important partner in knowledge investment, nation-building, and in serving development and the community.
“These institutions should be concerned with quality before quantity and focus on serving society,” he added.
For his part, university chairman Dr. Taha Al-Rohani said his institution strives to keep pace with international universities in terms of courses and study plans which have also been carefully formulated to meet contemporary labor market needs.
Dr. Al-Shuaibi and Dr. Al-Rohani honored the graduating students with speeches at the close of the graduation ceremony.
