Omar Assaid, the owner of Arrazy Health Center, has demanded compensation from the government for damage done to his health center during attacks against Al-Qaeda militants in Azzan city in Shabwa governorate.
In a letter sent to the governor of Shabwa governorate, the owner said the health center facility had been significantly damaged as a result of a year and a half of crisis, but that the worst damages came from air strikes which destroyed most of the center’s equipment and part of the building.
The letter stated that the center is the only one of its kind in the area and serves local citizens. Assaid demanded immediate solutions to his problem and added that the damage done makes it impossible to resume operations at the center.
