Turkey to launch electricity projects in Yemen

The Yemeni president, for his part, invited Turkish companies to invest in Yemen, promising to offer all facilities for Turkish investments in his country.

Turkish Ambassador to Yemen Fazli Corman said on Wednesday that his country would carry out a number of electricity projects in the Arab Peninsula country.

Speaking to reporters following talks with Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, the diplomat said the projects will be carried out in Aden and al-Hudaydah provinces in southern and western Yemen.

The Turkish diplomat said four kidney dialysis centers will be opened soon in Sanaa, Aden, al-Hudaydah and Ta’izz.

During his meeting with the Yemeni president, Çorman conveyed a verbal message from Turkish President Abdullah Gül to the Yemeni leader o bilateral relations and Turkish support to Yemen in all fields, including its fight against terrorism.
