By NY Staff

An official security source in the Hadramout province stated that one of the Al-Qaeda members who participated in the massacre of slaughtering the soldiers in Sayoun was arrested yesterday, August 10.

According to a source, a militant named Sabri Bin Taleb was arrested in one of the Qat markets.

Taleb is now in prison under heavy guard in order to learn about the rest of Al-Qaeda and their bases.

The source explained that about 14 soldiers from the members of 135 Brigade were killed on August 8 while they were in a mass transit bus.

In a separate news, US drone killed three suspected al-Qaeda militant in central Yemen, security officials said Saturday, as Yemen’s defense minister vowed an “Earth-shattering response” to the killings of 14 off-duty soldiers a day earlier.

The unmanned U.S. drone fired several missiles at a residential building in the Obeida Valley in central Ma’rib governorate, which is just east of the capital Sana’a. Yemeni security officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said three militants belonging to al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) were killed.

“The American drone targeted a house in Ma’rib governorate and three militants were killed. Several people were also wounded,” the official said.
