Gunmen Assassinate the Head of A Court in Sana’a

On January 18th, unidentified gunmen assassinated the head of Bani al-Harith Court, Judge Ahmed Hassan al-Ansi, and his son at the gate of the court in Sana’a.

A judicial source noted that three of the judicial police and other citizens were also injured in the attack. The source pointed out that the Board of Yemen Judges held an emergency meeting to follow up on the implications of the incident and reflect on the seriousness of security agencies to play their role in controlling the attack’s perpetrators.
