Emirates Red Crescent reopens health centre in Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has renovated and reopened a health centre in Hadramout Governorate, Yemen, on Saturday. The health centre, which is part of a series of development projects being implemented by the ERC in the governorate, was reopened to improve the humanitarian conditions of the people, meet their medical care needs and secure a dignified life for them.

The opening of the health centre following its renovation falls within the framework of the ERC’s efforts to support the health sector in Hadramaut Governorate.

The director of the Hella Health Centre, Sulaiman Saeed Bahamran, hailed the role played by the ERC in reopening the health centre after completing the first phase of renovation and provision of medical equipment.

He confirmed that the centre had already begun receiving patients, adding that it will receive about 600 patients every month.

The people of the area extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE in general and the ERC in particular for reopening the centre.
