Bahrain King confers medals of appreciation on BDF officers, members

Manama, (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today a number of officers and BDF members after returning from Yemen after taking part perfectly in their noble duty. The meeting was attended by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Commander of the Special Royal Guard Force Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

HM the King conferred medals of appreciation on a number of officers and BDF members in tribute for their perfect assumption of duties with great determination. He welcomed them, thanking them for their noble humanitarian services during BDF continuous participation alongside the Arab coalition forces in the Saudi-led “Restoring Hope” operation in Yemen. He also commended their distinguished efforts in the humanitarian aid operations, stressing that they presented the honourable image of their nation and that they are a source of pride. He wished them and all the BDF personnel every success in assuming their duties.

The meeting was attended by the BDF Chief of Staff.
