The President of Yemen, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, has said that final victory over the rebels is close following the major victories scored by the national army and popular resistance in two fronts at Sarawah and Nahm in the Mareb and Sana’a governorates respectively.
Hadi said in a phone call on Saturday evening with Staff Major General Abdul Rab Al Shaddadi, Commander of the Yemen Army’s Third Military Region in Mareb, that the wheel of change will not roll back, as signs of major victory over the coup militia “loom large.”
Yemen’s official news agency reported that the President of Yemen slammed the Houthi militia and ousted president group, describing them as “transgressors”.
He referred to a series of victories being scored by the national army and popular resistance against the insurgents, thanks to support from the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia.
Major General Al Shaddadi explained that the national army and the resistance were making steady progress in Sarawah and Nahm that culminated in them having control of large parts of these two areas.
