Iran’s Backing Coup Militias in Yemen Exposed

Written by NY Staff

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Malik Al Shaikh, has stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the right to maintain its national sovereignty and security, urging the international community to undertake its role and responsibilities towards the Iranian regime machinations and its interferences in the internal affairs of countries to destablise the region’s security.

The ambassador said the missile attacks launched by the coup militias targeting Saudi cities across the border from Yemen would not have happened had it not been for Iranian regime’s supporting these militias to the extent of threatening international navigation.

HE told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that Iran has continued its hostile policy against the region and continued its meddling in the internal affairs of Arab countries to create a state of tension and instability. He added that the chaos and instability in the Yemeni state of affairs is the result of Iran’s blatant interference in the Yemeni affair aimed to destabilize its security, inflame sectarianism and undermine the international efforts aimed to resolve the Yemeni crisis on the basis of the UN Security Council’s Resolution 2216/2015.

He added that the Iranian regime has continued to support the Yemeni coup militias and provided them with weapons, military experts and missiles that exacerbated the plight and suffering of the Yemeni people.
