VP meets Russian, Chinese diplomats


Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansur Hadi briefed on Saturday the Russian and Chinese ambassadors to Yemen on the measures adopted since the attack on the Presidential Palace’s mosque.

Hadi also indicated to the health condition of the President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who has been injured in the mosque attack, saying that the president was in a good health and will return home soon.

Regarding his meetings with Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) and other opposition powers, the Vice President said that it was agreed on taking crack down to cease fire, open roads and end the weapon carrying in the capital Sana’a.

Hadi talked about his meeting with a number of the protestors, discussing the acts of roads’ insecurity, killing people for only a partisan disagreement and preventing basic services access to the citizens including electricity, oil and gas.

The Vice President valued highly the friendly stances of Russia and China on Yemen and its unity, security and stability.

Russian ambassador Sergei Koslov and Chinese ambassador Liu Denglin voiced their condemnation over the terrorist mosque attack that targeted President Saleh and senior state’s officials.

They underlined their countries’ firm attitudes toward supporting Yemen’s unity and security.
