On Saturday, the Yemeni and French governments signed an agreement to facilitate the treatment of youths injured in the Yemeni revolution of 2011. A number of youths will be treated in Jordanian hospitals with the cooperation of the French Red Crescent, Yemeni Red Crescent and the nation of Jordan.
The agreement was signed by, the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed Assadi and, from the French side, the Cultural Advisor for the French Embassy, who said his government government had agreed to bear the expenses of treating the injured youths at Jordanian hospitals.
Following the signing of the agreement, Assadi praised the role of the French government in supporting the Yemeni government through reducing the poverty and suffering of injured youths.
For his part, the French Cultural Advisor said the injured youths would begin being transferred to the Jordanian hospitals this December.
