Oil pipe line was blown up by gunmen Yemen east. Officials say gunmen planted an explosive device beneath the pipeline during night in Shabwa province. “The explosion caused suspending oil importing through that pipeline,” added the officials.
The oil pipeline is run by a Korean company and was attacked many times just like the rest of the oil institutions in Yemen. The attacks are regularly attacked by militants affiliated with Al-Qaeda organization or tribal elements who seek to have certain demands. The rate of committed attacks increased after the eruption of youth revolution in 2011 and caused Yemen to lose $ 4 billion.
