While the Interior Ministry has restricted military personnel from carrying their weapons while in civilian control, instead leaving them in locked centers, and also prohibited certain motorcycle movement in the capital, judges have now been allowed to carry small arms without a license. The Interior Ministry has also allowed judges to use bulletproof cars.
Judges are now exempt from inspection procedures due to the prevailing security situation, though they still need to show their cards at military checkpoints. According to media outlets, the decision was made after consultation between the Supreme Security Committee and the judicial authority. The exemptions will also apply to important prosecutors.
