Basindwa has given Islah six million dollars from the state treasury to support the University of Quran, run by Islah in Sana’a.
The spokesman of Ansar Allah, Mohammed Abduslam, said that Basindwa must now support them with six million dollars to build al-Hauza University for Quran, the equivalent of Islah’s University of Quran in Sana’a.
Ansar Allah are not looking for support for their Quaran University as much as they are looking for equal distribution of the treasury’s wealth. Yemen’s Central Bank is about to announce its bankruptcy while the Prime Minister is financing sub-projects that should be postponed until the government income improves.
