With the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hisham, and the former leader of military police, General Manassar Majidaa, as well as a number of journalists and interested parties, the documentary film The Son of the Tribe and the Challenge was premiered on August 16 in the media room at the Movenpick Hotel.
The film, which was directed by journalist Fatima Jalal, presented the real biography of Captain Hassan Farhan bin Jalal and the challenges faced by him during his life in the army.
Through the film, former president Ali Abdullah Saleh described Captain Jalal as national wealth, advising the government to take advantage of him.
Moreover, General Megally Mgidea spoke about the achievements offered by Captain Jalal in the armed forces and security which helped them to achieve their national duties.
Director Fatima Jalal expressed her appreciation for the captain, considering him a great model for people in Marib who still aspire to develop his creativities in the army.
In the end, the film was praised by all attendees and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Hisham, who said that what distinguishes the film is human creativity.
