Yemen at Top Resa & Tokyo exhibitions for travel and tourism

September 26, in the capital of Paris, the “Top Resa” Exhibition for Travel and Tourism has concluded its events with noticeable participation of Yemen. Large number of people from around the world were very astonished about the diversity of Yemen tourism options.

The tourism counselor of Yemen Embassy in Paris, Sadek Alsaar, hailed the design of the Yemeni exhibition corner, pointing out that the exhibition was admired by visitors of the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by French Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Tourism Mathias Vicki, Tuesday the 23rd of September.

He also praised the large number of the exhibition’s pioneers of all nationalities, especially French tourists who are interested in Yemeni civilization and culture and wanted to learn more about the programs and presentations made by Yemeni companies that participated in the exhibition along with the Tourism Promotion Board.

 The “Top Resa” exhibition is considered to be  one of the most important tourist forums in France. It targets professionals and workers in the field of tourism and features 500 exhibitors of tour operators, hotels, airlines, cruises, and rail.

The exhibition was moved from Deauville (West France) to Paris in order to turn it from an exhibition for French tourism to an international exhibition, and organizers expect that the exhibition attracted 30,000 visitors this year, compared to 25,000 visitors last year.

At the same time the Ministry of Tourism and Promotion Board participated in the exhibition, they also participated with another team in the Tokyo Exhibition for Tourism and Travel, which launched its first event on September 23rd and concluded on September 28th.
