A woman who tried to sneak into Yemen on foot with six children and three Yemeni smugglers has admitted her fault and remorse about what she was going to do
On Monday, November 3rd, the Specialized Criminal Court (SCC) held a session for defendants, where the first female respondent attended, while the second one refused to attend.
In the session, the first respondent offered a paper in which she claimed that she doesn’t belong to organizations or terrorist groups.
Among the most prominent charges against the defendants was the support of the thought of al-Qaeda through social networking sites, encouraging young people to leave the country to the battlefields abroad, and exploiting children and women to fight against the state and its justice and security organs. They both pledged their innocence, and the investigation bodies have the right to hold a public case against them.
