Unidentified terrorists have blown up pipelines that transport oil from the Jannah Hunt Oil Company to Safer Company in Marib province in northeast Yemen.
A local source said that the bombing took place about 10 km from the Safer Oil fields. He pointed out that engineering teams started repairing the pipes that were blown up by unknown attackers.
This bombing is the second in less than a week in the province of Marib. Yemen’s losses exceeded $3 billion in the last year because of bombings of the Safer pipeline, and 35% of the 2014 budget deficit is caused by the bombing of the Safer pipeline.
