The Islamic Relief in Yemen (IRY) began implementing a number of projects in four provinces: Sana’a, Dhamar, Hodeida and Marib.
IRY started a field survey to find the provinces’ needs. They took food for-work as a methodology to support these projects by providing all requirements and working tools.
The residents of the targeted areas will implement the projects, and at the end of each project they receive money and food baskets. The projects Included improving local roads, the rehabilitation of lakes and agricultural terraces, sidewalks, irrigation channels, building tanks, and cleaning the streets.
