The Houthi political office in Sana’a refused to apologize to the Presidential office manager, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, for ceasing him at a checkpoint in the capital Sana’a.
A reliable source said that the Capital Security Administration also refused to offer the same apology after the demand of the office. The source explained that the demand of bin Mubarak came after fighting happened between his guard and the popular committees guards at a checkpoint which cause the immediate cease of Bin Mubarrak’s convoy late at night yesterday.
This is not the first time in which the Houthis have stopped the Presidential Office manager at al-Houthi checkpoint. The Houthis refused to elect bin Mubarak as prime minister, considering him an unacceptable choice in the Peace and Partnership Agreement.
