The Minister of Telecom and IT Latfi Bashareef and Mohammed Bin Nabhan, the Minister of Oil and Minerals, are the two luckiest ministers in the resigned government. They escaped Houthi militant’s house arrest.
The two ministers managed to travel to their home town in Hadhramout safely the same day of Houthi’s coup against president Hadi.
Later on, the Houthis decided to besiege the residence of the Minister of Legal Affiaris Mohammed Al-Makhlafi and the Minister of Defense Mahmoud al-Sabaihi. On Saturday morning, the Houthis besieged all ministers’ residences, either southern or northern ones. Ministers are not allowed to travel or leave their homes.
