1 killed, 7 injured in Saudi in cross-border shelling from Yemen

JAZAN (WAM) — Saudi’s Civil Defence spokesman in Jazan Region, Yahya Al Qahtani, today said a Saudi man was killed and seven others were injured by a projectile fired from Yemeni territory.

In a statement, the spokesman said the military projectile was fired from the Yemeni governorate of Samtah.

Two children and two girls were among those injured in the southwestern Saudi border region, the official said.
