Yemeni students at 89 schools in Aden city will now have access to 915 computers delivered by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to the Aden Education Office.
The initiative, which is part of the UAE’s support to the people of Yemen, follows the restoration of 154 schools across Aden province by the ERC.
Deputy Secretary-General for Local Affairs at the Emirates Red Crescent Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri handed over the computers to the Director of the Aden Education Office Mohammed Al Raqeebi.
In recent months, the UAE humanitarian agency has delivered another 759 computers to 46 schools.
The UAE continues to support all liberated Yemeni provinces, Al Mansouri said.
Al Raqeebi thanked the leadership, government, people and charities of the UAE for their support to the Yemeni people during the current crisis.
