Yemen: Kerry Set to Head to Oman, UAE

WASHINGTON, Nov 4 ( KUNA) — US Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to travel to Muscat, Oman and Abu Dhabi in 10 days, the State Department announced in a statement on Friday.
On November 14, he will meet Oman’s Sultan Qaboos and Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi in Muscat to discuss efforts for a peaceful settlement to the conflict in Yemen, revealed the statement.
Secretary Kerry travels to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a day later to meet with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed to discuss regional challenges.
Before his two-stop Gulf tour, Kerry will also visit Antarctica and New Zealand, while he heads to Morocco and Peru between November 15 and 16. (end)
